A quality seat post

In the summer I "aquired" my eldest son's bike frame which I thought I would use as a winter hack. The seat post it came with needed replacing because I use Selle SMP saddle which needs to be in the correct position to be comfortable as well as being supported properly. The Ritchie seatpost is easy to adjust and gives plenty of support to the saddle rails which is exactly what I wanted and it is very nicely finished. At the price I paid it was an absolute bargain as I had been looking at 2nd hand ones at a similar cost. I already have the same post on my summer bike so I know how good they are and I recall that they were quite expensive - certainly more than the price I just paid. The service was also excellent.
